Call me a fan of music. I'm partial to acoustic singer/songwriter stuff in the tradition of James Taylor and Carole King. I believe in supporting my local music scene. I like to keep my ears open for interesting music, just a little left of center. Check here for my take on music and musicians you might not hear on the radio. Your input is valued. Please comment. Please share your own finds! Happy listening! I ditched the Ping play list in I-Tunes. Too complicated and restrictive.Let me know if there is a way to set up a player on this blog using my own mp3s.

Did a little Scouting with Josh and Matt this weekend with permission of Josh's Scoutmaster. They passed off 3 1st Class requirements including orienteering and lashing. Now is Josh's troop will help him pass of some cooking stuff he'll be done with 1st Class! Nice to be back in the saddle again. The broken rung is from Grandpa try out the ladder. So much for cottonwood. We replaced it with a piece of pine we found in my wood pile.
Sounds like fun. Once a scout leader always a scout leader it does seem to get in your blood. I found myself teaching a scout how to fold the US flag after church a couple of weeks ago. Actually was kind of fun.

Looks like fun! I'm sure you felt right at home with the scouting stuff.
Sounds like a good weekend with the boys. Glad they gave you permission to catch Josh up on what he had missed. Those boys are getting so big!

Sorry about the dark photos. They looked fine in the camera, but I later found I'd left the it set to under expose from a previous shoot.
